Keeping New Year's Resolutions in 2007

What are your back and neck-related New Year's resolutions? Mine are to continue doing my exercises, especially while I am working at my computer. I might even make a series of desk exercises into my daily routine. I will, of course, continue doing Pilates, yoga, and the new addition to my exercise repertorie, the Egoscue Method, because staying active with these systems of work really helps my back.

Because I insist on being an active participant in my health and health care, I will make sure I understand why and how I should be doing my exercises, for example: the pelvic tilt, hamstring stretches, which affect my low back, and other valuable therapeutic exercises.

I will also educate myself on the types and causes of back pain, as well as on back surgery and other treatments, to be sure any back or neck related health care decisions I may need to make will be in my best interest.

And, I plan to spend more time in the Back and Neck Forum. I hope you do, too!

What are your resolutions? Please comment here on how you will take care of your back and neck in 2007.
