I’m surprised you’re telling people to eat Salmon. Do you realize how difficult it is to find wild salmon? Read those labels carefully, they’re deceiving. Salmon shouldn’t be eaten more than once every couple of mths. Most salmon is farmed and full of mercury. Salmon are carnivores. They’re fed ground salmon pellets which mean the levels of mercury are dangerous. Science Journal: In January 2004, the journal Science warned that farmed salmon contain 10 times more toxins (PCBs, dioxin, etc.) than wild salmon. The study recommends that farmed salmon should be eaten once a month, perhaps every two months as they pose cancer risks to the human beings. Overall, bad advice, take a look at David Suzuki on this.
Actually, it is not difficult to eat wild salmon, as pretty much all canned salmon is from the wild. Also you may wish to check out the linked article in more detail, as it does review the controversy around wild vs farmed salmon.
