Along with general practitioners who may be able to help you manage your back pain, there are several types of doctors whose specialties include back and neck pain. Sometimes the doctors' specialty areas overlap with one another, and you may find yourself being referred to a few of them before you are done with your treatment. The landscape of doctors and spine specialists can be confusing -- so why not take a moment to read about the different types of doctors and what they can do for back pain or neck pain?

Hi my name is chris wilkerson and I’ve been having back pain for the past 5or6 years and I have noticed that I have gotten shorter in the past 3 years I was 6feet tall and now I’m 5 foot 9 inches tall most of my pain is in between the middle and lower part and also it’s been real bad sometimes I can’t even stand and when I’m at work I can’t stand for long periods of time it’s starting to get to the point that I can’t stand it anymore just wanted to find out what y’all think I should do thanks.
