Yoga for Back Pain - Standing Forward Bend

If you do yoga for back pain, you are likely to encounter forward bends. Forward bends are part of the standing pose series. They can be helpful in stretching hamstring muscles, which, in turn can help flat low back posture. In this month's yoga for back pain collaboration between Ann Pizer, About.com's yoga guide, and myself, we go over uttanasana, or standing forward bend. Don't forget Ann's instructions.
