If you use Icy Hot Heat Therapy products for your back or neck, here’s some news for you. The company has recalled several of their products because consumers were getting skin irritation and burns. Icy Hot products are air activated crèmes, ointments and patches used for temporary relief of back strain, arthritis and muscle/joint pain.

The products being recalled are as follows:

  • Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat- Back
  • Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat- Arm, Neck, and Leg
  • There were samples of the Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Actiated Heat Arm, Neck and Leg product inside of the 3 ounce Aspercreme Pain Relieving Crème product. Those samples are also being recalled.

According to Forbes.com less than 1800 people were affected.

If you have any of these products, stop using them. Either throw them away or return them to the manufacturer for a full refund. The number to call if you want a refund is (877) 742-6275.

Also, you can report any problems you’ve had for taking these products to the FDA, on their website, or by fax: (800) FDA-0178.
