Anatomical Quirk in the Neck Or Anatomy Lesson?

The neck is a complicated and delicate area.  From the bones to the ligaments to the muscles, you could spend a long time trying to understand it.

One of the more interesting aspects of the neck, in my opinion, is that along with the spinal column, there's another bone there.  It's called the hyoid bone.  The hyoid bone is not the Adam's apple.  It's present in both men and women.  Check out why I think it's interesting by reading my short article on the hyoid bone.
