Abdominal breathing, also known as belly breathing is an excellent pain management tool. It may take a leap of faith, as well as a learning curve to begin to reap the benefits, but its beauty lies in its simplicity.
The technique of abdominal breathing merely takes advantage of what nature gave us, and so side effects will be minimal, if present at all.
