The Spine Supports the Whole Body

The spine is a large bony column most people refer to as their “backbone”. While it is true one can touch their spine by touching their back, the spine actually takes up about half of the volume of the torso, from front to back. This may give you an idea of the amount of support the spinal column is capable of giving to the body.
