Spinal Stabilization

Supported bridge pose is one of a number of different spinal stabilization exercises. Not only are spinal stabilization exercises are given in yoga, but also in rehabilitation settings. A September, 2006, study published in Spine Journal compared stabilization exercises with conventional physical therapy for addressing back pain, and found the two approaches confer equal benefit on the patient.
