How Were You Suffering Before You Were Treated?

My neck bothered me all the time. It was "out" constantly and I cracked it throughout the day. Whenever I would lie down to go to sleep, it would destabilize just as I was falling off to sleep and I would have to get up and crack my neck - night after night.

What Made You Decide to Get it Treated?

I had treatment for my neck over the course of 20 years. I mostly got chiropractic treatment. Then, I happened to do a professional trade with a massage therapist who fixed it! She fixed it in one long, somewhat painful session. The changes have lasted. I am amazed. For some reason I never trusted that massage could help this chronic condition.

Lessons Learned

  • If one kind of treatment doesn't work, don't keep doing the same thing. Try another.
  • The other thing I did was increase my Pilates training. I feel sure the extra strength and stability in my upper body has helped me hold the changes the therapist made.
