Botox has been used for chronic back and neck pain in the last few years. Some believe in its pain relieving effects, and say that it increases range of motion. However, the decision to have Botox injections for chronic back or neck pain should be made carefully. Undiluted, Botox is a poison, a rather common form of food poisoning, actually. It takes a specialist to do it right -- the medication must be properly prepared and administered by a qualified medical doctor who has years of experience giving botox injections for chronic back or neck pain. Otherwise, you might be setting yourself up for a poisoned nervous system, or even death.
