Last month, I wrote about Diagnostic Imaging Tests as they have a reputation of being given unnecessarily to back patients. Insurance companies seem to think that films unnecessary because they've stopped paying for them in many cases. Unfortunately, insurance companies also are in the habit of denying tests to people when they really need it. This affects people who deal with chronic back pain in particular.
