Hi Anne,
Can you elaborate a bit more on the “Pain Awareness month” what is it purpose and where can I find more information about it?
Thank you,
Mark
Mark – The purpose is to raise awareness of the issues people living with chronic pain face. This includes everything from day to day management to policy. Many organizations, both national and local, participate. You can just decide to do something in honor of Pain Awareness Month, or you can join an organized event.
Ideas include writing press releases and letters to the editors, blogging, attending health fairs and more. This website has a list of participating organizations, if you want to be a part of a group.
Hope that helps!
Anne
