Some people swear by alternative medicine and holistic therapies for their necks or backs, while others poo-poo it. Which category do you fall into? I've done a bit of evidence gathering on the topic, in case you're on the fence. Check out: Natural Remedies for Back Pain - What the Research Says

Also, you may want to get a reading on what other people with spine pain think of holistic therapies. To my mind, the best strategy to investigate (after back exercise) is holistic bodywork.  Check Out: Reader Stories - Bodywork for Back Pain.

Yoga is another great thing to do for back pain, if you approach it properly. Read what the medical studies say so far: Yoga for Back Pain - Research. If you want to try yoga, first take the Is Your Back Ready for Yoga? quiz.
