Experts recommend that those of us working at our desk for long periods of time be sure to take mini-breaks to save our hands and back.
Time for a stretch break - a back extension movement for all the hunching you do.

A good way to counteract the hunching is to do the opposite movement - back extension. This back extension movement is taken from the yoga sun salutation and will strengthen you back muscles.

It's easy to find yourself humped over your computer, isn't it? Back extension is the opposite movement of the computer hunched position. The Back Extension Stretch Break exercise is taken from the yoga sun salutation and recommended by the American Physical Therapy Association. I have added some suggestions for working effectively, and a sitting version for those tied to their desks. Try the Back Extension Stretch Break exercise now.
