Fluoroscopy

Definition: Fluoroscopy is a medical imaging technique that passes X-rays through a patients body, converts them into light, and catches the light to project a real time video image on a TV monitor. Fluoroscopy is used in minimally invasive surgery, and to examine the body from the inside.
